Founded by Thomas Walden, CPA/CA and Eric Birnberg, LL.B, Behind the Scenes Services Inc. (BTS) is enjoying its 20th year as a service provider in the Canadian film, television and digital content service industry.  BTS’ mission has always been to provide one-stop, cost effective and comprehensive business affairs and administration services to our clients.  Its principals and professional staff have decades of “in-the-trenches” experience in the industry, including in production.

 

BTS’s clients’ production budgets range from under $100,000 to over $100,000,000 and we advise and offer services in every genre of production, from web-series to feature documentaries, and from small, non-scripted, non-union cable MOW’s to large-scale, scripted, union/guild worldwide streamer series.

 

BTS’s principals own and operate other businesses that are complementary to the services of BTS, including:

BTS LLP -  a CPA firm to handle the financial statement preparation and corporate tax return filings for BTS’ clients.

Lewis Birnberg Hanet, LLP (LBH) - a media, entertainment, telecommunications and technology law firm co-founded by Eric Birnberg, that is capable of handling the full range of development, production and distribution-related matters on productions, in addition to corporate transactions of BTS’ clients.

High Park Entertainment 20/20 Inc. - a Canadian production and distribution company co-founded by Thomas Walden and Eric Birnberg, that may play a useful role for BTS’ clients in the ongoing development, production or distribution of their film and television projects.
