Eric Birnberg, LL.B. spent eight years with Alliance Atlantis, lastly as Sr. VP, Business & Legal Affairs for the Television Group, and prior to that as the General Counsel to the entire AAC organization. Over his tenure, he acted as the business and legal executive on several television productions, and was responsible for many specialized matters. Prior to that, Eric was Legal Counsel at TMN-The Movie Network. Eric is a founding partner of the media and entertainment law firm, Lewis Birnberg Hanet, LLP, a member of the CFTPA's Finance & Tax Committee, its Copyright & International Policy Committee, and a board member of a variety of CFTPA-founded copyright collectives, including the Canadian Retransmission Collective. Eric also serves in senior producing roles on film and television projects including the prime-time animated series "Bob & Doug", and the sci-fi erotica series "Forbidden Science".
